Meet Our Mascot: The Brooklyn Pigeon
At TEAL, we're inspired by the Brooklyn pigeon - or "Bigeon" as we call them. For over 6,000 years, pigeons have provided humanity with food, delivery services, and even rescue aid. We recognize them for their intelligence, resiliency, and service.
Intelligence
Pigeons are remarkably intelligent birds, capable of complex problem-solving and navigation.

Puerto Rico Environmental Action Lab (PREAL)
Building a sustainable facility in Aguadilla featuring student housing and a community-designed food forest. This project emphasizes community-driven sustainability and environmental education.

Westside Eco-Farm
Creating an Urban Farm and Education Center in Syracuse’s Near Westside to fight food insecurity through fresh produce, community events, hands-on learning, and youth programs.

Restoring Onondaga Creek
TEAL is restoring a section of Onondaga Creek in Kirk Park through cleanups, native plantings, and education. Partnering with groups like the Creek Rats, we aim to expand restoration efforts citywide.
